Over 10M passengers travels through Emirates this summer
(MENAFN) More than 10 million passengers traveled with Emirates on almost 35,000 flights to 130 destinations this summer.
Forecasting a rise in travel request, the airline worked closely with its airport associates to function as scheduled and reduce travel disruptions.
Throughout this busy period, it also surged flights to 33 destinations on popular paths via Europe, Asia as well as the Middle East, in addition to popular holiday cities including the Seychelles, Maldives, Mexico and Miami.
Two months ago, Emirates added Tel Aviv to its international network, and in July it added a third regular flight to London’s Gatwick Airport to serve travelers affected by Heathrow’s volume cuts.
In the meantime, on the ground, the airline functioned 32 signature Emirates lounges, such as 25 located at main airports through its network.
In addition, the airline has reestablished its trademark complimentary “chauffeur-drive” airport transfers for first- and business-class passengers in almost all towns it serves.
