TASI closes Wednesday’s session on lower note
(MENAFN) The Saudi share market closed the last exchanging session of August lower after a decrease in oil prices, initiating worry between financers.
The Tadawul All Share Index closed Wednesday’s exchanging session 1.38 percent worst at 12,283, whereas the similar Nomu gained 0.20 percent to 21,637.
In energy trading, Brent crude decreased to USD89.28 per barrel, whereas US West Texas Intermediate reached USD96.00 per barrel, at 3:18 PM Saudi time.
Saudi oil giant Aramco fell 1.7 percent, whereas Methanol Chemicals Co. dropped 2.73 percent.
Saudi Telecom Co. addded 0.48 percent, after its shareholders agreed on a 150 percent capital surge to SR50 billion (USD13 billion).
The Saudi National Bank, the country’s largest lender, witnessed its share price decrease by 0.14 percent.
Alinma Bank shed 1.55 percent, whereas Al Rajhi, the Nation’s biggest valued bank, dropped 0.44 percent.
The Co. for Cooperative Insurance jumped 3.68 percent to lead the earners, whereas Bawan Co. fell 4.76 percent to top the fallers.
