    Iran’s 5-month non-oil shipments to regional nations surges 27 percent YoY

    (MENAFN) Iran’s non-oil shipment to its 15 bordering nations amounted to USD10.723 billion in the opening five months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22) to record a 27 percent surge in comparison with the prior year, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) stated.

    Rouhollah Latifi placed the pressure of the shipped goods at 25.398 million tons, stating that non-oil exchange with regional nations has had noticeable expansion in terms of worth and mass throughout the stated span of time, as reported by IRNA.

    Overall, the Islamic Republic exchanged nearly 33.333 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at USD20.636 billion with its neighbors in the stated period.

    Exchange with neighboring nations amounted to 57 percent and 48 percent of the mass and worth of Iran’s whole non-oil trade in the stated span of time, individually.

    As mentioned by the official, Iran exchanged 58.140 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at USD42.589 billion in the stated 5-month period.
