Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul decreases by more than 6 percent at Tuesday’s close
(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed Tuesday at 3,426.88 points, decreasing 6.09 percent from Monday's end.
Opening the day at 3,709.05 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 222.33 points from the prior end.
The index's worst value throughout the day stood at 3,426.88, whereas its day to day peak reached 3,715.28.
The overall market value of the BIST 100 was nearly 2.77 trillion Turkish liras (USD152.33 billion) by market end, with a day to day exchange volume of 138 billion Turkish liras (USD7.56 billion).
Throughout the day, 10 shares on the index increased, 89 decreased, and one was unaffected in comparison with the prior end.
International main Brent crude exchanged at USD94.91 a barrel at 10.20 AM regional time (0720 GMT) for a 0.96 percent rise from the ending price of USD94 per barrel in the prior trading session.
American main West Texas Intermediate (WTI) exchanged at USD88.69 a barrel at the same time for a 1.03 percent earn following the prior session finished at USD87.78 per barrel.
