    Istanbul set to welcome e-commerce giants in World E-commerce Forum

    (MENAFN) The World E-commerce Forum is prepared to gather e-commerce heads in the Turkish metropolis Istanbul at the close of September.

    On Sept. 28-30, the forum is going to hold a projected 20,000 members from 34 nations at Istanbul's Wow Congress Center, as shown by a press meeting on Friday.

    Omer Nart, who is in charge of the event manager Worldef, stated that the forum is going to be attended by over 10 international marketplace delegations and generate a business capacity of USD2.5 billion.

    Attendees are going to comprise of China's Aliexpress, Europe's biggest marketplace Zalando, Russian e-commerce giant Ozon, Latvian-based Joom, the UK's Frugo, Polish Allegro, and Chinese company Shein, the press release mentioned.

    Turkey’s e-export capacity is nearly USD2 billion, and the event is going to hold worldwide marketplaces with an overall market capacity of nearly USD250 billion.

    The event is going to also host high representative from several nations, such as leaders, premiers, as well as cabinet ministers, he continued.

    The forum is going to constitute of the target of making Turkey an international e-commerce center, he highlighted, also stating that Worldef is going to arrange an event in Las Vegas, Nevada in the direction of this end next March.

    He stated that “All the stakeholders of the world e-commerce ecosystem will meet at this event."
