South Pars day-to-day gas output at nearly 615 mcm
(MENAFN) Average day to day output of natural gas in Iran’s South Pars gas sector reached 614.7 million cubic meters (mcm) throughout the opening five months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21 – August 22), the managing director of South Pars Gas firm (SPGC) stated.
Ahmad Bahoush made the comments in a gathering of SPGC heads with the chief of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) which is in control of the overseas area of the field, as reported by Shana.
Throughout the gathering, the officials talked about the needed actions that must be taken to arrange the complex for a continuous provision of gas throughout the cold season.
South Pars gas area, which Iran and Qatar share in the Persian Gulf, is separated into 24 normal stages of improvement in the opening phase. Most of the stages are completely functioning right now.
SPGC is in control of the refineries of the complex onto land, whereas POGC functions the platforms of the field offshore.
