Abu Dhabi National Hotels, Ras Al Khaimah ink resort deal as it seeks international growth
(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi National Hotels is investing over Dh1 billion (USD272 million) to establish a luxury resort on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island in addition to that it is seeking worldwide growth prospects in the area.
The Abu Dhabi-listed firm is going to establish a 1,000-room luxury resort on a 1 million square-foot location overseeing the Arabian Gulf, it stated on Tuesday.
“Ras Al Khaimah is a growing destination and it has natural resources that appeal very clearly to diverse segments and to people from around the world,” head executive Khalid Anib informed The National on the offshoots of the Future Hospitality conference on Tuesday.
Adding that “The infrastructure in Ras Al Khaimah today supports big projects … It's a part of the UAE and as a national company, we believe in the prospects of Ras Al Khaimah and we want to be a part of that growth.”
The UAE’s tourism area carries on to regain from coronavirus on the back of administration initiatives as well as effective procedures to tame the extent of the epidemic.
