    Iran collects over USD900M for NIGC priority ventures

    (MENAFN) Oil Minister Javad Oji has stated that 260 trillion rials (nearly USD902.9 million) has been collected for the operation of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC)’s significance ventures in the present Iranian calendar year (started on March 21).

    Oji made the comments in an Oil Ministry committee gathering hosted on Sunday for talking about additional ventures in the gas area, Shana mentioned in a report.

    In the gathering which was directed by First Vice leader Mohammad Mokhber, some of NIGC’s important priority ventures in the downstream area were accepted.

    In line with Oji, the stated resources are going to be collected for a huge amount of ventures with the aim of maintaining the output in refineries, develop gas storage volume, improve the gas distribution network, and provide gas to cities and villages that do not have access to the national gas network.

    Additionally, in the gathering, NIGC chief Majid Chegeni also displayed report on the firm’s priority ventures.
