Boursa Kuwait closes Tuesday’s session with raises
(MENAFN) Boursa Kuwait shares rose on Tuesday with its general Index jumping 204.5 points to end at 7186.53 points, a surge of 2.9 percent.
Nearly 295.8 million shares were exchanged via 17,434 cash transactions for KD 77.6 million (USD235.12 million).
The Benchmark Market Index has soared 93.07 points to stand at 5,377.55 points with a rise of 1.7 percent via exchanging 174.5 million shares via 66,727 trades for KD 15.8 million (USD47.8 million).
The Premier Market Index climbed 250.9 points to stand at 8,048.13 points with a surge of 3.2 percent via exchanging 121.2 million shares via 10,807 transactions for KD 61.7 million (USD187 million).
In the meantime, GCC share markets regained on Tuesday from a several sessions of declines in the markets.
Markets in the region are anticipating for a probable OPEC+ verdict around oil output levels, however, Oil costs carried on to surge as dealers expect the probability of an output reduction between OPEC nations.
