Qatar Airways receives proposal from Rassure
(MENAFN) Sydney-located Rassure, labelled as a worldwide top in revenue assurance, is presently in discussions with several of Middle Eastern carriers, such as Qatar Airways in a proposal to partner with the area’s airlines as well as support them classify and regain income shortage that is going to transform revenue in the industry, as stated by an official.
In a meeting with The Peninsula, CEO of Rassure Gerald Thomas stated that airlines worldwide, which are just developing from the extraordinary effect of the COVID-19 epidemic, can take advantage from the firm’s automated income reviewing technology to develop their cost optimization, in addition to regain income shortage. Thomas was in Doha to contribute in the 8th IATA World Financial Symposium which resolved here lately.
He stated that “Our focus is about transforming airline profitability. We think that what we are doing can make a big impact on an airline’s profits. On average in 2019 figures, globally, airlines make about USD5.80 profit per passenger. And from our analysis, across the entire customer journey - from booking through to the last coupon being flown - there’s revenue leakage of around USD1.50. This dollar-fifty, if you are to recover it, will form almost 25 percent increase in airline profits. Basically, there are many things that drive and impact airline profit. But what surprised us was how much revenue leakage could contribute to airline profitability when recovered”.
