    Iran’s shipments to US surge 8.5 folds in 8 months YoY

    (MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s shipments to the United States surged by 8.5 folds in the initial eight months of this year from the same time span a year ago.

    According to the data issued by the United States Census Bureau, the U.S. shipped in goods valued at USD5.1 million from Iran in the initial eight months of 2022, whereas the number was only USD600,000 in the same span of time in the last year, as reported by IRNA.

    In line with the stated data, both nations exchanged USD33 million valued of commodities in the stated eight months, surging 28 percent from the number in the first eight months of last year.

    The United States Census Bureau’s figures indicates that the value of U.S. shipments to Iran jumped 11 percent to USD27.9 million in the eight-month time span of 2022, compared to USD25.1 million in the same time period of the prior year.
