Qatar highlights deep-rooted, strong relations with Turkey
(MENAFN) Leader of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey H E Ahmet Burak Daglioglu highlighted that ties between Qatar and Turkey are solid and deep-rooted.
He informed QNA that the past 10 years have recorded huge improvements in Qatari-Turkish ties in several sectors.
He mentioned that Qatari investments in Turkey are presently valued at USD10 billion, and there are Qatari firms functioning recurrently inside Turkey, some with completely Qatari assets, others with varied capital, and in mixed amounts.
He also noted that Qatari investments occur in numerous several industries, mainly the economics industry (banks), health and tourism, as well as real estate, in which Qataris (individuals and firms) have financed, with the latest time span seeing the income of Qatari investments into the ports and technology industries.
Daglioglu also underlined that Qatari-Turkish ties have surged and developed expressively in the financial and investment factor throughout the latest time span, as the capacity of trade exchange among the two nations reached nearly USD1.8 billion.
