Iran urges EAEU to cooperate on improving energy infrastructure to grow ties
(MENAFN) Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Ahmad Asadzadeh has urged the members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to show cooperation on improving energy groundwork with the aim of growing relation among nations, according to what was reported by Shana on Saturday.
While giving a speech at the Russian Energy Week International Forum (REW) in Moscow, Asadzadeh offered some suggestions including the creation of energy associations, the formation of a joint investment fund, and so on, to reinforce the tactical relations between the nations of this region.
The official, who took a trip to Moscow to join the four-day occurrence, highlighted the importance of reinforcing EAEU’s Energy Secretariat for the promotion of energy ventures in the nations of this region.
On the offshoots of the forum, Asadzadeh hosted two-sided gathering with Russian Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov, chief of Gazprom Neft Company as well as some energy ministers in addition to firm officials joining REW.
