Iran’s shipments of oil output rises 40 percent in H1

(MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s oil outputs shipments surged 40 percent in the opening 6 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22), in comparison to the same span of time in the last year, the boar director of Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters Union (OPEX) declared.

Hamid Hosseini stated that although the six-month shipment shows a 40 percent raise in worth, it dropped 20 percent in mass, in comparison to the same span of time in the last year.

Main export outputs involved liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), polymers, methanol, bitumen as well as industrial lubricants, he mentioned.

Hosseini also mentioned that “It is hoped that we can maintain the 55 percent share of downstream oil and gas industries in the country's export.”

The growth of trade diplomacy, and the activation of chambers of commerce, one of whose responsibilities is marketing, can be an answer for the improvement of the share of downstream oil industries, the board director of Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters Union (OPEX), who is also an energy specialist, also remarked.
