Iran prepares to increase customs partnership with Kyrgyzstan
(MENAFN) Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Alireza Moghadasi as well as Kyrgyzstan’s envoy to Tehran Turdakun Sydykov underlined expanding customs collaboration among both nations in a gathering in Tehran on Thursday, as reported by IRIB.
While giving a speech in this gathering, Moghadasi talked about the membership of Iran and Kyrgyzstan in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), as well as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), mentioning that the exchange among both nations is estimated to surge via the volumes of membership in these local unions.
Moghadasi highlighted the necessity of customs collaboration among both nations for boosting the capacity of commercial trades and stated that “The implementation of the electronic TIR, the expansion of educational cooperation regarding customs issues, providing the necessary ground for the signing of new memorandums of understanding, and the exchange of customs information between the two countries will play a significant role in the development trade facilitation between Iran and Kyrgyzstan.”
