    Iran, Venezuela reach agreement to grow cooperation in several sectors

    (MENAFN) The ninth gathering of the Iran-Venezuela Joint Economic Committee was hosted in the capital of Iran on Tuesday throughout which the two nations agreed on a deal for the growth of collaboration in many sectors, as reported by IRNA.

    A senior delegation of Venezuelan officials such as the nation’s Transportation Minister Ramon Blazquez as well as Agriculture Minister Wilmar Castro Soteldo took a trip to Iran to join the stated gathering to discover additional opportunities for joint collaboration.

    The main financial event was co-ruled by Venezuelan Transport Minister Ramon Blazquez on top of Minister of Defense along with Armed Forces Logistics of Iran Mohammadreza Gharaei Ashtiani.

    At the end of the gathering, the two countries signed a comprehensive collaboration document listing a range of fields such as industry, mining, energy, petrochemical, trade, agriculture, science, as well as technology.

    While giving a speech at the event, Ashtiani stated that “We firmly believe that the successful holding of this committee meeting will be the beginning and a turning point in the macro and strategic relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela under the leadership of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and Nicolas Maduro, the presidents of the two countries.”
