    Saudi Arabia issues new industrial permits surging 5.1 percent in November

    (MENAFN) Industrial ventures valued at SR7.2 billion (USD1.9 billion) were accepted by Saudi Arabia in November as the nation signed off on 82 additional permits – a month on month surge of 5.1 percent, as shown by the National Industrial and Mining Information Center.

    The figure of licenses released in November 2022 is 14 higher than were issued in the same month a year before.

    Small enterprises obtained 85.3 percent of the additional industrial licenses, shadowed by medium enterprises standing at 12.2 percent, on top of that then came micro enterprises with 2.44 percent.

    The additional licenses are issued through six sector actions, such as food outputs, non-metallic mineral outputs, then producing of shaped metals apart from machinery and equipment.

    The additional activities were paper and paper outputs, clothing, as well as the production of chemicals in addition to chemical outputs.

    On top of this, the figure of current factories in the nation until the end of the same month amounted to 10,742, with funds reaching SR1.4 trillion (nearly USD372.3 billion).
