    Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul closes Monday’s session at 10,811 after declining 29 points

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index saw a decrease of 28.81 points — or 0.27 percent — on Monday to finish standing at 10,810.68.

    Whereas MSCI Tadawul 30 Index closed unaffected standing at 1,492.97, the similar market Nomu witnessed a 27.67 points decline to reach an amount of 19,151.14.

    TASI’s overall exchange turnover of the main index on Monday stood at SR5 billion (USD1.33 billion), with 69 shares of the registered 223 increasing and 135 decreasing.

    Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co., also known as Cenomi Retail, was the best performer of the session, adding 7.03 percent to reach SR18.88.

    The firm was also the highest earner on Sunday as it gained 9.98 percent, after the declaration of its preparations to divest 26 non-strategic brands to rationalize its brand portfolio.

    The franchisee retailer wants to concentrate on “champion brands” conquering the No. 1 or No. 2 spots in their industries.
