Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index decreases 1.34 percent at Sunday’s end
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index on Sunday saw a decrease of 143.21 points — or 1.34 percent — to end standing at 10,588.58.
MSCI Tadawul 30 Index fell 1.45 percent to reach 1,454.10, whereas the similar market, Nomu, lost 0.48 percent to stand at 18,905.15.
TASI’s overall exchange turnover of the main index was SR3.77 billion (USD1 billion), with 46 shares of the registered 224 increasing and 172 decreasing.
The worst performer was Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co., which plummeted 5.06 percent to reach SR22.90. Other shares that were between the highest decliners were Saudi Printing and Packaging Co., Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co., Halwani Bros. Co. as well as Arabian Pipes Co. — all declining in the 4 percent range.
Americana Restaurants International PLC was the highest earner, surging 4.76 percent in the week's initial exchange day to SR3.74.
The other high performers were Makkah Construction and Development Co., Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co., Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. in addition to Salama Cooperative Insurance Co.
