Iran's TPO putting robust work to surge shipment, ease exchange

(MENAFN) During a news conference on Monday, the president of Iran's Commerce Promotion Agency (TPO) went into detail about the main steps his organization is taking to streamline trade and promote the export of the nation.

The main duty of the TPO, according to Alireza Peyman-Pak, is to build infrastructures to enable commerce and encourage export.

One of these tactics, he added, is hosting exhibitions to identify the target markets, adding, "We attempt to diversify the displays based on the target markets."

The official said, "We picked the targeted markets and organized exhibits via understanding the potentials and capacities. We concentrated on extending our footprint in the hitherto underserved markets of Africa, Eurasia, East Asia, and Latic America."

“We planned six exhibitions for the African markets, two of them have been already held and the rest four exhibitions are planned to be held”, Peyman-Pak added.

The official cited the Iranian car parts expo in Moscow as a success in this regard and added that similar achievement had also been attained in the realms of medical equipment, foodstuffs, apparel, building materials, and other areas.

“We selected 57 products as pivots for holding the exhibitions”, he added.
