    Industrial investments in Saudi Arabia rose by USDD8.54B last year

    (MENAFN) Industrial investments in Saudi Arabia surged to SR32.03 billion (USD8.54 billion) last year as the nation progressively expanded its economy along with the targets underlined in Vision 2030.

    In its month on month bulletin, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources asserted that the overall capacity of industrial investments in Saudi Arabia until December last year reached an amount of SR1.428 trillion.

    The ministry issued that during last year, 1,023 workshops began functioning, with investments reaching an amount of SR28.79 billion, whereas 964 industrial licenses were released.

    Throughout the same time span, Saudi Arabia’s industrial industry established 51,723 employment opportunities, the ministry’s monthly bulletin continued in its statement.

    The amount of mining licenses released by the ministry until the end of December 2022 were to reach 2,272 licenses, which contains 1,383 building materials quarry licenses, 635 exploration licenses, 178 mining as well as small mine exploitation licenses, 43 reconnaissance licenses, in addition to 33 surplus mineral ores licenses.
