TASI closes Sunday’s session 101.52 points lower to reach 10,051.78
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index on Sunday saw a decrease of 101.52 points — or 1 percent — to end the session standing at 10,051.78, extending last week’s 3.8 percent drop.
Whereas MSCI Tadawul 30 Index declined 12.43 points to 1,371.41, the similar market Nomu fell 0.79 percent to reach 18,967.99.
TASI’s overall exchange turnover of the main index was SR2.77 billion (USD740 million) as 37 shares of the registered 224 inclined and 179 declined.
Between sectoral indices, 18 of the 21 registered on the share exchange plummeted, while three earned.
The Diversified Financials Index saw heavy trading as the sector lost 204.07 points to stand at 4,057.15.
Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. took the worst reach as its stake cost plummeted 6.81 percent to stand at SR61.60.
Other prominent decliners were Thob Al Aseel Co., Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co., Arabian Cement Co. as well as Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co.
