IBPC Qatar Hosts ITeQS 2023 to Celebrate World Engineering Day
(MENAFN) The Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC Qatar) hosted its flagship event, the IBPC Tech Qatar Summit (ITeQS 2023), at the Doha Sheraton. The event was held to mark World Engineering Day for a Sustainable World and 50 years of bilateral relations between India and Qatar. The theme of the event was ‘Engineering innovation for a resilient world’.
ITeQS 2023 was a platform for exploring the latest technological advances, such as Artificial Intelligence, ChatGTP, Machine Learning, and their impact on sustainability. The event focused on the Qatar Ecosystem and the parallel between technology innovation and sustainability. The event was attended by eminent Qatari dignitaries, diplomats, businesspersons, professionals, business councils, and members from the engineering community.
The Chairman of IBPC, Jaikrishnan Menon, spoke about the objectives and mission of IBPC. He highlighted the importance of technology innovation and sustainability in the current global scenario. Menon emphasized the role of IBPC in promoting business and cultural ties between India and Qatar. He also spoke about the council's efforts to support the Indian community in Qatar and provide a platform for networking and knowledge sharing.
Angeline Premalatha, Charge d’Affairs at the Indian Embassy, addressed the audience and highlighted the deep-rooted and historic relations between Qatar and India. She spoke about the strong economic and cultural ties between the two countries and the role of Indian professionals in contributing to the development of Qatar. Premalatha also congratulated IBPC on organizing ITeQS 2023 and emphasized the importance of technology innovation in achieving sustainable development goals.
Overall, ITeQS 2023 was a successful event that brought together professionals, experts, and stakeholders to discuss the latest technological advances and their impact on sustainability. The event also provided a platform for promoting business and cultural ties between India and Qatar.
