    Iran-UK exchange surges more than 70 percent last year

    (MENAFN) The financial trades among Iran and the United Kingdom (UK) have increased by more than a triple after BREXIT so that the exchange among the two nation amounted to 696 million pounds during the last year, as reported by IRNA.

    According to a report issued by the British Ministerial Department of Business and Trade, the exchange among Iran and UK in last year amounted to its peakiest level during the past 10 years, recording a massive expansion of 72 percent.

    The worth of exchange among the two nations reached an amount of 191 million pounds in 2020 when the UK exited the European Union. The exchange jumped to 405 million pounds two years ago and then to 696 million pounds last year.

    In spite of this massive expansion, Iran was placed 98th between the UK's exchanging partners last year, and exhcnage with Iran has counted only 0.1 percent of the nation’s overall foreign exchange.
