    Turkey: today's electricity prices

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 343.93 Turkish liras at 11:00 local time, and the minimum will be 248.40 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A raise of 8.20 percent to 161.07 million liras in comparison with Monday was shown by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 320.18 liras and 323.70 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market, the maximum electricity price for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday was set as 338.16 liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum was 178 liras at 04:00 local time.
