    US-Iran tension left UAE stocks down

    Owing to escalate tensions between the US and Iran after the former has killed a top Iranian general on Friday, the UAE bourses dropped on Sunday morning.

    Accordingly, all the stocks, save Tabreed, were trading negatively including The Dubai Financial Market General Index dropped below two per cent.

    During the morning circulation, a loss by five per cent to 10 per cent caused Gulf Navigation, Shuaa Capital, Dubai Entertainment and Ithmaar to act as the biggest losers of the day.

    Other leading stocks like Emaar, Emirates NBD, Dubai Islamic Bank, Deyaar and Arabtec were down 2.5 per cent, 2.3 per cent, two per cent, four per cent, and 3.1 per cent respectively.
