(MENAFN)President of the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) Ahmed el-Wakil announced that a rise of 24 percent is estimated in the volume of trade exchange in 2020.At a conference organized by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, el Wakil stated that in 2019 the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and China reached USD 11 billion.He added that mutual relations between China and Egypt were strengthened and cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, education, and technology were boosted due to the sustained meetings between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
