    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 340 Turkish liras at 09:00 local time, and the minimum will be 280 liras at 03:00 and 04:00 local time.


    A drop of 2.94 percent to 153.5 million liras in comparison with Monday was shown on Tuesday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 325.19 liras and 326.82 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday, the maximum electricity worth was set as 345.01 Turkish liras at 17:00 and 18:00 local time, and the minimum was 249.99 liras at 04:00 local time.
