    Turkey: today's electricity prices

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 335.90 Turkish liras at 09:00 local time, and the minimum will be 245 liras at 03:00 local time.


    A drop of 0.78 percent to 152.3 million liras in comparison with Tuesday was shown on Wednesday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 316.82 liras and 318.74 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 340 Turkish liras at 09:00 local time, and the minimum will be 280 liras at 03:00 and 04:00 local time.
