    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 331.92 Turkish liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 275.89 liras at 03:00 and 04:00 local time.


    A drop of 4.54 percent to 143.3 million liras in comparison with Friday was shown by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 314.09 liras and 315.19 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 334.91 Turkish liras at 10:00 local time, and the minimum will be 225 liras at 03:00 local time.
