    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 336.98 Turkish liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 274.87 liras at 03:00 local time.


    A drop of 11.3 percent to 143.21 million liras in comparison with Thursday was shown on Friday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot marke, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity t is calculated as 320.63 liras and 321.47 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 344.43 liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 210 liras at 04:00 local time.
