    NOC: loss of more than USD1 billion over suspension of oil exports

    (MENAFN) The suspension of oil exports caused by the shutting of oil fields and ports has made a loss of over USD1 billion until now, according to the state-owned Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC).


    As said by NOC, Libya's daily oil production decreased from over 1.2 million barrels for each day to 181,576 barrels for each day, causing a total loss of USD1.042 billion.


    The NOC informed that, "National Oil Corporation (NOC) renews its call for all blockades to be lifted to allow the corporation to resume production immediately, for the sake of Libya and its people".
