    Iran: TEDPIX increases 6,948 points

    (MENAFN) According to IRNA, on Saturday, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), TEDPIX increased 6,948 points to 452,482 and more than 9.968 billion securities value about USD1.14 billion were traded at TSE in the first day of the recent Iranian calendar week.


    As said in a report by IRNA, on Saturday, the 1st market's index grew 5,242 points and the 2nd market's index increased 13,266 points and TEDPIX climbed 4 percent in the past Iranian calendar week.


    On Wednesday, the index finished 18.775 points higher at 445,894 and according to the report; TSE saw the highest weekly increase of its key index in the Iranian calendar week ended on January 17, which was the last week of Iran's 10th calendar month of day.


    The index grew 45,638 points, or 12.9 percent, in the mentioned week to reach 399.445 points.
