    Turkey: electricity prices for today

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Monday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 341.57 Turkish liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 200 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A rise of 23.11 percent to 161.45 million liras in comparison with Saturday was shown on Sunday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 311.63 liras and 316.31 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Sunday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 342.39 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum was 199.99 liras at 09:00 local time.
