    134 companies to launch their operations in Manama

    (MENAFN) As said by a public agency tasked to attract investment in Bahrain, foreign investors have given Bahrain the approval of 134 firms starting their operations in Manama last year.


    The investment is likely to stand at USD835 million, according to the Bahrain Economic Development Board.


    As said in a statement by the agency, the investment is planning to make over 6,000 jobs on the local market in the coming 3 years.


    The sectors of financial services, information and communication technology (ICT), manufacturing and logistics, real estate, tourism, education and healthcare, and came from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, France, India, Japan and Britain, will all be cover by the investment.
