    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes at 120,048.74 points

    (MENAFN) On Wednesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index increased 0.21 percent from the last close closing at 120,048.74 points.


    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index began the day at 119,940.00 points and starting from the daily close, it made 250.91 points from Tuesday's close of 119,797.82 points.


    The index's minimum level was 119,229.22 points, and the maximum was 121,369.76; the total market worth of the BIST 100 was USD137.9 billion by market close, with a daily trading volume of USD3.2 billion.


    On the 3rd transaction day of the week and in comparison with Friday, 48 stocks on the index increased, 44 dropped, and 8 were flat.
