    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 328.84 Turkish liras at 11:00 local time, and the minimum will be 220.65 liras at 16:00 local time.


    In comparison with Thursday, a drop of 5.35 percent to 149.28 million liras was shown on Friday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 301.03 liras and 302.82 liras.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 334.99 liras at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 local time, and the minimum was 199.99 liras at 04:00 local time.
