    1st international bid in 2020 for gold to start in Egypt

    (MENAFN) Egypt will start the first global bid in 2020 for gold and other minerals discovery in Egypt in mid-March, according to Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tariq al-Mulla.


    As said by Tariq al-Mulla, the round of the bid will go until July 15 and the exploration will be done in the mineral-rich Eastern Desert.


    A new law for mineral wealth has been released in 2019; the law and investment amendments are the first step in the way of enhancing the mining sector, as he said.
