    Electricity market's trade volume decreases by 7.19 percent in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 327.75 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 129.63 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A drop of 7.19 percent to 125.79 million liras in comparison with Tuesday was shown by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 257.77 liras and 263.77 liras.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 336.28 liras at 09:00 local time, and the minimum will be 184.99 liras at 04:00 local time.
