    UAE: number of economic licenses increases in February 2020

    (MENAFN) In February 2020, the amount of economic licenses released in the UAE increased to 678,573 in comparison with 676,256 in January, as said in statistics from the National Economic Register of the Ministry of Economy.


    This climb points at the continuing economic expansion around the UAE.


    In 2019, UAE's macroeconomic expansion rate stood at 2.9 percent, according to the Central Bank of the UAE.


    The amount of licenses released in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in February amounted to 465,442, with the 2 emirates accounting for 68.6 percent of all licenses released around the UAE in the reporting period, as the statistics showed.
