    Outbreak of coronavirus in Iran didn't affect Iran's oil, gas production

    (MENAFN) The outbreak of coronavirus in Iran has not affected Iran's oil and gas production, according to Iran's Ministry of Petroleum.


    As said by Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, "despite a decline in transportation and consumption (of gas and oil) inside the cities (of Iran), it (COVID-19) has had no effect on Iran's oil production and we are producing as before."


    "The production and distribution of Iranian oil and gas is carried out without any effect from the virus outbreak," according to Farrokh Alikhani, deputy head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
