    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes week at 95,605.22 points

    (MENAFN) The week was ended by Turkey's benchmark stock index at 95,605.22 points, which is an increase of 2.1 percent from the earlier close.


    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index began the day at 93,657.50 points and starting from the daily close, it made 1,965.72 points from Thursday's close of 93,639.50 points; during the day, the index was between 91,644.28 points and 98,855.54 points.


    By market close, the total market worth of the BIST 100 was around USD106.2 billion with a daily trading volume of USD1.5 billion.


    In comparison with Thursday, on the last transaction day of the week, 81 stocks on the index increased and 19 dropped.
