    Iraqi oil supplies rate increases to about 13,000 barrels per day

    (MENAFN) As the Jordan Petroleum Refinery (JoPetrol) total imports of Iraqi oil in the 1st half of this month totaled 196500 barrels, Iraqi oil supplies rate rose to about 13,000 barrels a day, as said by energy Minister, Hala Zawati.


    A statement by Zawati informed that, collaboration has been made with the Iraqi side, to grow loading and transportation rates, to give JoPetrol with all contractual quantities of crude oil in March 2020, in hope of any emergency in light of the coronavirus outbreak.


    Since the beginning of unloading Iraqi crude oil at the refinery / Zarqa site on September 2019, JoPetrol has taken 2 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil, with a daily rate of about 10.25 thousand barrels, carried by 7851 Iraqi and Jordanian trucks, as said by Zawati.
