    KSA: deficit of 2020 state budget to range 7 to 9 percent amid COVID-19 outbreak

    (MENAFN) During the coronavirus outbreak, Saudi Arabia expected that the shortage of the 2020 state budget will range among 7 to 9 percent.


    Saudi Arabia's financial and economic ability to handle the coronavirus crisis with flexibility, through reducing expenses or borrowing, according to Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan.


    Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan said that, some of the state's budget appropriations will be studied and transferred to the sectors most in need in the recent situation, including the health sector.


    Al-Jadaan also said that, an emergency budget was presented to cover any costs that may rise during the development of this global crisis.
