KSA to increase its crude oil exports by 600,000 barrels a day

(MENAFN) According to a Ministry of Energy official, Saudi Arabia plans to improve its crude oil exports by 600,000 barrels for each day as of May, increasing total crude exports to 10.6 million barrels a day.

This rise came over displacing crude with natural gas from the Al-Fadhili gas plant, as a fuel for producing electricity, and from the drop in local demand for petroleum products over cut in transportation as a result of the precautionary measures in place to control the COVID-19 outbreak.

Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) will offer its customers 12.3 million barrels per day of crude oil in April, a climb of 300,000 barrels a day from the maximum continued capacity of 12 million barrels per day, as said by Saudi Aramco.
