    Qatar to distribute USD10 million to 100,000 poor families in Gaza

    (MENAFN) On Tuesday, Qatar began distributing USD10 million to 100,000 poor families in the Gaza Strip to help them combat coronavirus epidemic.


    According to Qatari Committee for Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, each family would get USD100.


    As said in the statement, according to a new mechanism in collaboration with the ministries of the health and interior in Gaza, process of distributing the funds would take two weeks.


    Qatar earlier vowed a USD125-million anti-COVID-19 aid package to Gaza in case of the spread of coronavirus.
