    Saudi equities rise with benchmark Tadawul All Share Index gaining 2.7 percent

    (MENAFN) Saudi equities increased for the second day, with the benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) making 2.7 percent, or 180 points, to 6,750 points on Thursday.


    The increase in the index coincides with more than 10 percent rise in crude price to USD27.55 this morning.


    More than 261 million shares, value SAR 5 billion, were traded during the period, with the advance-decline ratio at 153:32.


    Blue chip SABIC increased 7.8 percent to SAR 76, while banking heavyweight Al Rajhi made 1.1 percent to SAR 54.50; Saudi Aramco climbed 3.4 percent to SAR 31.65.
