    Deficit of USD6.1 billion in Treasury's cash balance last month: Turkey

    (MENAFN) The Treasury's cash balance last month witnessed a shortage of USD6.1 billion, according to Turkey's Treasury and Finance Ministry.


    The Treasury's cash income totaled USD8.15 billion in March, with a 21 percent decline every year.


    Including interest payments of around USD1.7 billion, expenditures increased 13 percent to USD14.3 billion.


    Non-interest expenditures amounted to USD12.6 billion, marking a shortage of USD4.4 billion in the primary balance, as official figures informed.
