(MENAFN) According to Hala Zawati, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, as many as 983,000 barrels of Iraqi crude oil were imported in Q1 of this year.

As many as 2.1 million barrels were transferred to the Jordan Petroleum Refinery facility in Zarqa since Iraq started providing Jordan with oil last September, as said in a statement by Zawati.

The Iraqi tanker trucks are unloaded on the borders, in line with government measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus, as she said.
