    Iran's tax revenue increases 31 percent

    (MENAFN) According to Omid- Ali Parsa, the head of Iran's National Tax Administration (INTA), Iran's tax income has grown 31 percent in the previous Iranian calendar year.


    As said by the official, putting Iran's tax profits at about USD34.04 billion in the earlier year, he said, "we could collect about USD5.9 billion as value-added tax (VAT)".


    Iran has made estimated tax profit by 102 percent in the past year, and put the average tax profit expansion at 21 percent during the past five years, as Parsa said.


    The head of the National Tax Administration also mentioned avoiding tax evasion as one of the prioritized programs of INTA.
